Awantipora, July 15: Two died, while two others were critically injured when their alto car rammed into a stationary truck on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway at Padgampora, Awantipora on Tuesday evening, official said.
An official told that an alto bearing registration number JK18B 5329 rammed into a parked truck at Padgampora, Awantipora along Jammu-Srinagar NH in Pulwama district, resulting in the death of one person on spot and critical injuries to three persons” he said.
“One among the injured person also succumbs his injuries at SMHS hospital Sgr”, he said.
Deceased identified as Rouf Gull, son of Gull Mohammad Lone from Dardgund, 2. Abdul Rashid Sheikh, son of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh from Devsar.
Injured persons identified as Showkat Ahmad Lone from Dardgund, while Firdousa, wife of Aijaz Ahmad Lone from Devsar.
Meanwhile, Police reached the spot and taken cognisance of the incident.
