Nidae KashmirSrinagar// President of ACA & SKLCWS Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera was invited as special guest in Mehfil e Mushaira organised by Kalamkar Kashmir at JK Private School Association karan nagar Srinagar.The renowned poets were gathered from different places of Kashmir in order to throw light on Kashmiri literature where kashmiri couplets were narrated which expressed the taste and uniqueness of the Kashmiri language. It is believed the western culture has caused harm to our mother tongue that our youth don’t prefer to talk in kashmiri but English and are ardent to learn this foreign language but have neglected their own. It was said after the conclusion of this mehfil mushaira that such mehfils will be held in nook and corners of Kashmir so that our youth are called back to it and made to realise its importance and feel it’s taste. Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera also stressed on it.He said we are not against of learning of English or any other language but our youth at least should pay heed to their mother tongue and should not look at it differently.
Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera was honoured with the award of honour for attending this prestigious and prosperous program.His works being social as well as cultural activist were highly appreciated.
