Pattan, April 2: The body of a 32-year-old man who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Rangi village of Mattan in Baramulla a month ago was exhumed today.
According to the KPS Correspondent, the body of the man was spotted outside the house of inlaws in the early morning last month and it was assumed a case of a Heart Attack.
A Police team had taken the body and pressed for postmortem, however then his family and his in-laws family’ did not allow it and buried the body.
According to locals, the deceased was living with his in-laws, and now the family of the deceased suspect murder of their Son and asked police to investigate the cause of death.
Accordingly, on the Directions of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, it was ordered to reopen the Grave and ascertain the facts of the cause of his death, Officials told KPS
However, according to Police officials, the medico-legal formalities have been conducted and specimens sent to FSL for further investigation in this regard.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Altaf Malik Son in the law of Late Abdul Razak Ganie, a resident of Rangi Pattan.
