Budgam, Mary 20: A 22-year-old girl allegedly attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Dassan village in the Beerwah area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday. Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the girl (name withheld ) tried to end her life after consuming a poisonous substance at her home. He said that the girl was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, wherefrom she was shifted to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. The official said that it was not immediately known as to why the girl tried to end her life. The official said that police have started an investigation into the matter—(KNO)
