Jasprit Bumrah will represent Team India in the next three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, which begins on January 10. Bumrah missed the crucial 2022 T20 World Cup after suffering a back injury during the T20I series against Australia last year.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee selected bowler Jasprit Bumrah for the forthcoming Mastercard 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, according to a release from the BCCI.
Guwahati will host the first game of the ODI series, while Eden Gardens in Kolkata will play host to the second match, and Trivandrum will host the series finale.
As the Men in Blue will begin their ODI World Cup preparations with the series, India made some daring selections in the ODI team, leaving senior opener Shikhar Dhawan and veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar behind.
