Handwara 20 July 2023 :Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested three peddlers and recovered narcotics in Langate area.
Today on July 20, 2023, a police party of Police Post Langate, while on naka duty on Yaroo – Langate road, apprehended three persons who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner.
On search, around 80 gm of Charas like substance was recovered from their possession. The persons have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Teli S/o Ghulam Qadir R/o Turkpora, Umar Ahmd Lone S/o Imtiyaz Ahmad R/o Kultoora and Mudasir Ahmad Lone S/o Mohammad Maqbool R/o Udipora.
In relation to this, FIR No.154/2023 U/S 8/20, 29 NDPS Act registered in PS Handwara and investigation initiated.
