National Youth Day was celebrated with the youth of Pulwama. A series of event was conducted to mark the Birthday of Swami Vivekananda. A seminar – “Save Youth, Save Future” was organised where youth of Pulwama discussed sensitive issues like Terrorism, Drug Abuse and Corruption. The aim of this seminar was to galvanise our youth towards nation building.
A Anti Drug rally was organised with an aim of bringing youth from different age group of South Kashmir on a common platform and to unite them in the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, which is also the theme of National Youth Day – 2023. Young blood was encouraged to take Swami Vivekananda’s ideas and philosophies and lead a peaceful and harmonious life. 88 locals attended the event and lauded the initiative and expressed hope that the Army would conduct more such events in the future.
