Nidae KashmirSecretary, Jal Shakti Department and DDC Pulwama flagged off Fish Transportation Vehicle
PULWAMA, OCTOBER 19: Secretary, Jal Shakti , M Raju along with District Development Commissioner Dr . Rahgav Langer, on eve of My Town My Pride flagged off a Fish Transportation vehicle for the farming community of the district.
The transportation vehicle has been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Khanij Ksherta Kalyan Yojna (PMKKKY ) by District Adminstation.
The facility will settle long pending demand of private fish owners with regard to procurement of seed from Trout Fish Farm , Kokernag and fish feed from National Feed Mill Manasbal .
The district Pulwama is first of its kind in whole J&K where such kind of facility has been provided by district administration to facilitate private fish farmers.
The fish farming community of Pulwama has expressed gratitude towards district administration as their much needed and long pending demand has been fulfilled .
The transportation vehicle is a multi utility facility with high tech imported oxygen tank with a carrying capacity of 15000 fingerlings.
The vehicle also has the facility of transportation of saleable Trout stock of 1.5 quintals of fish besides equipped with deep freezer for stocking of frozen fish.
