Nidae KashmirRamban, Aug 25 : The District Administration Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, today virtually joined a program held at Srinagar, presided over by Chief Minister of J&K Omar Abdullah. The programme was organized by the J&K Rehabilitation Council.
At the district level, the event witnessed the prominent participation of MLA Banihal Sajjad Shaheen, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo, district officers, beneficiaries, and locals. The highlight of the event was the distribution of motorized tricycles among identified specially-abled beneficiaries.
During the program, the MLA Banihal, Deputy Commissioner, and other dignitaries formally handed over motorized tricycles to 26 beneficiaries, extending vital support aimed at enhancing mobility and fostering independence.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the support as life-changing, enabling them to move freely, pursue education, livelihood, and social activities with greater dignity.
