Nidae KashmirKupwara : Security forces on Tuesday recovered a substantial quantity of suspected charas from a woman during a routine security check at Sadhna Top in Karnah.
In a statement issued here to news agency cni, Today, on 09th September 2025, during a routine security check at Sadhna Top (Karnah) around 11:15 AM, substantial amount of a substance suspected to be Charas was recovered from a female individual during frisking procedures by Mahila Constables Anamika Roy and and Monika Orawn of BSF.
The accused identified as Alaf Noor wife of Faqeer Sheikh, resident of Khawarpara, Karnah was intercepted at the NC Pass joint checkpoint, and subjected to a search as per established protocol. During the search the suspected contraband was found concealed indicating a deliberate attempt to avoid detection, it reads.
Based on the preliminary findings and evidence Case FIR No. 45/2025 has been registered under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs
