Delhi: 16-Year-old girl shoots at mother of minor boy who raped her in 2021, apprehended

New Delhi: A 16-year-old girl on Saturday shot and injured the mother of a boy who allegedly raped her in 2021. The incident took place in Delhi’s Bhajanpura area. The minor girl shot at the woman with a pistol at around 5:30 pm. The woman’s son is also a minor. The victim runs a grocery store. The 50-year-old woman was rushed to a hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital. The police apprehended the girl. During the initial investigation, it came to light that the minor girl earlier in 2021 registered FIR against the victim woman’s son under charges of rape. The case was reportedly registered against the minor boy under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. In another incident, a 17-year-old girl allegedly murdered his mother with the help of her lover in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district on December 31. The shocking incident took place in the Gadaipura locality of the district. The girl first gave sleeping pills to her 38-year-old mother and then reportedly called her lover. They both strangled and stabbed the woman to death.
