District Police Anantnag has once again shown its commitment to eradicate the drug menace by apprehending two drug peddlers. On specific information Police party from Police station Anantang established a naka at Batpora Khanabal and apprehended one person namely Sahil Masqood Khuroo S/O Maqsood Ahemad Khuroo resident of Khureepora Guree and recovered about 400 Grams of Charas like substance from his possession.
Moreover another Police party from Police Post Khanabal during Naka checking near JIC Chowk arrested one person namely Aamir Ahmed Malik S/O Abdul Hameed Malik Resident of TB Shah A/P Naidkhun Anantnag along with 08 Bottles of Cofmaster, Codine phosphate derivative.
Both the accused persons were arrested, cases stands registered in Police Station Anantnag and Police Post Khanabal respectively.
General Public is requested to come forward with the information regarding Drug peddling in your respective areas and assist police in eradication of Drug menace.
