Stresses officers to work with utmost dedication
SHOPIAN, JANUARY 10: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of revenue officers to review the functioning of the Revenue department in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon all the officers to work with utmost dedication and honesty and ensure people do not face any inconvenience while visiting their offices.
He took detailed review of online services being provided by the department and instructed to ensure on-time and quick disposal of services and grievances.
On the occasion, the DC directed Tehsildars to ensure completion of the digitization of all revenue records including Masavis, Jamabandi etc in their respective Tehsils. Progress under land encroachments was also discussed and the need to intensify anti encroachment activities were ordered to be initiated.
The DC also reviewed several other departmental issues. He directed Tehsildars not to leave the station without proper permission from his office.
The DC emphasized on the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the district to personally monitor the provision of public services. He particularly laid focus on proper monitoring of drug/ Pharma outlets.
Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Shahbaz Ahmed Bodha, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned attended the meeting.
