MLA Pulwama Waheed ur Rehman Para attends the event, farmers express gratitude for direct bank transfer.
Pulwama, August 02 : District Administration Pulwama today organised a special event at the Circuit House Pulwama to mark the release of the 20th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The event was conducted in alignment with the nation-wide virtual ceremony addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
The event was attended by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pulwama, Waheed Ur Rehman Para; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama; Chief Agriculture Officer, Pulwama; and a large gathering of farmers from across the district, along with officers from the Agriculture Department and allied sectors.
During the programme, the live telecast of the Prime Minister’s address was screened. As part of the national event, the Prime Minister virtually transferred the 20th installment directly into the accounts of beneficiary farmers across the country under the PM-KISAN scheme. The live broadcast highlighted various government efforts aimed at enhancing farmers’ welfare and ensuring income support to farmers.
Farmers present at the event expressed gratitude for the timely financial assistance under PM-KISAN and appreciated the Government’s sustained commitment to the welfare of the farming community.
