Elderly woman among three injured in Kashmir road rage incidents

Srinagar, Jan 19, KNT: Three persons including an elderly woman were injured in three road rage incidents after being hit by unknown vehicles in Kashmir Valley.

Police have taken cognizance of these incidents and registered cases under relevant sections of law.

In one of the road accidents, at KP road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a 50-year-old woman Raja Begum wife of Abdul Rehman Wagay, a resident of Kamad Dialgam. The injured was shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment.

In another accident, an unknown Tipper hit and injured a pedestrian namely Muhammad Ramzan Sofi, son of Muhammad Ismail of Chakloo in the Chakloo area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Baramulla. The injured was shifted to the district hospital Baramulla for treatment.

In the third incident, a Load Carrier (JK01V-5495) driven by Mudasir Rashid Bhat of Tawheed Colony Natipora, Srinagar was hit by an unknown truck at Hyderpora which resulted in injuries to said Load Carrier driver. The injured was shifted to the district hospital Budgam for treatment. [KNT]
