January 13: Today, Kulgam police recieved an information that fire broke out in the house of Mohd Ashraf Gorsi Resident of Gujarbasti Avail Manzgam and it was very tough to reach there due to heavy snowfall.
On tip off, a special team of police station Manzgam headed by SHO Manzgam under the close supervision of SSP Kulgam along with Concerned Magistrate was constituted who swiftly reached the place and with strenuous efforts rescued two families and brought the fire under control and thereof the whole family were shifted to safer place
General Public especially the rescued family members thanked Kulgam Police for assistance at crucial juncture and in saving precious lives.
