One day training programe for Panchayat secretaries, Junior engineers and Technical assistants was held today on Saturday at administrative complex Kupwara for giving final touch to GPDP ( Gram panchayat development Plan).
Chairperson, District Development Counsel Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori presided over the Training cum capacity building session.
Assistant Commissioner Development(ACD) Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commisioner Panchayats(ACP) Kupwara, Shabir Ahmad, DDC Member Rajwar, Mohd Sulaman Mir, DDC member Drugmulla Adovocate Amina and BDOs besides Panchayat secretaries, Junior engineers and Technical assistants attended the brainstorming session.
At the outset, threadbare discussions were held on the parameters on Halqa panchayat development plan, Mission Antodaya, People’s Plan Campaign, Role of Halqa Majlis (Gram Sabha) in preparation of GPDP and implementation and Monitoring of GPDP.
The ACD Kupwara stressed upon the participants to get fully acquainted about the GPDP for achieving the desired objectives and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
He informed that the exercise of finalisation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) at Panchayat level is in full swing and by Jan 25 it will be submitted for approval.
During the training session ,ACP Kupwara acquainted the Panchayat secretaries and Junior engineers about the GPDP and themes of SDGs and informed them about their role and responsibilities of making a comprehensive plan.
DDC members Sulaman Mir and Adovocate Amina also stressed to make it a people’s friendly GPDP and assured of all coperation from PRIs.
The participants gave their feed back about GPDP finalisation and thanked RDD authorities for organising such brainstorming sessions for field functionaries which will prove beneficial for them. .
