Police party from police Post General Bus stand established a naka at Chee Bridge Anantang. One unknown person was moving in suspicious circumstances when he noticed the movement of police party he tried to flee from the spot but the police party apprehended him tactfully, during his search about 10 bottles of Codeine Phosphate like substance (each bottle of 100 ml) was recovered from his possession. He discloses his name as Mukhtar Ahmad Shah Son of Mohd Ismail Shah residents of Darpora chee who was arrested on spot and case under relevant section of law stands registered.
Anantnag Police once again appeals the people of the District to come forward with the information regarding drug peddlers so that curative steps can be taken against them.
