Nidae KashmirSrinagar, October 10:Two militants were killed in an encounter on Saturday in Dadura area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told GNS that two militants were killed in a brief exchange of firing. However their identity couldn’t be ascertained yet. Meanwhile, searches are still going on at the encounter site.
Earlier, According to the reports reaching GNS, a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Dadura .
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.(GNS)
