Srinagar: 22 oct: Income Tax Department on Thursday raided two malls in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Sources told KD, that Income Tax department sleuths accompanied by police and CRPF raided MS Mall on Residency road and City Walk Mall on MA road Srinagar and were conducting searches.
“The purpose of the raids was not immediately known, however raids were on,” sources added.
Pertinently, MS Mall belongs to the Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah son of Haji Mohd Shafi Shah of Rajbagh and City Walk Mall is owned by two partners namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Kawoosa son of Ghulam Qadir of Nishat and Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Haji Mohammad Shafi of Rajbagh.
