KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 16: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan today reviewed the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) scheme in the district here at a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC).

The meeting focused on the initiatives aimed at the socio-economic development of minority communities. Directives were issued to ensure the timely initiation and effective implementation of key projects.

The DC reviewed the status of  the projects taken up under the PMJVK scheme (education department), including the construction of school buildings such as GHS Lopara (Marwah), GHS Tipri (Drabshalla), GHS Sranwa (Kishtwar), GMS Gulabgarh (Paddar), GMS Bonda (Inderwal), GMS Hindgam (Inderwal) and GHSS Mughal Maidan (Inderwal).

He directed the concerned officials to proceed with the construction of one additional room for the Health and Wellness Centre at Sigdi Bhata, the assessment of the old block and multipurpose hall at GHSS Kishtwar, and the remodeling of NTPHC Inderwal.

The meeting was attended by PO ICDS Rishi Kumar Sharma; CPO   Shahnawaz Bali; DSWO Zubair Ahmed; CEO Kishtwar Javed Ahmed Kitchloo, LDM Kishtwar, BMO Chatroo, along with representatives from ITI Kishtwar, NGOs, and other staff from the concerned departments.
