SRINAGAR, JULY 22: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo chaired a meeting at Civil Secretariat here today to review the progress of works on under-construction Brazloo Bridge.
During the meeting, the Minister impressed upon the officers of executing agency to expedite the ongoing works so that the bridge is completed within the stipulated timeframe. She delved upon the officers to maintain high-quality standards of works while executing this vital project.
The Minister stressed on the officers to mobilize men and machinery and ensure that no further delay occurs in completion of the project.
She further stressed on the officers to maintain regular coordination with other concerned departments like Revenue and others in order to remove any bottlenecks hindering the smooth execution of the project.
During the meeting, the officers informed the Minister that this bridge is a vital component of the NH-444 highway infrastructure.
It was informed that the 378-meter-long bridge, after completion, will improve connectivity between Kulgam and Srinagar districts.
