Chief Engineer, MED inspects construction of Oxygen Generator Plant at Doda GMC

DODA, APRIL 07: Principal, Govt. Medical College, Doda Dr. Dinesh Kumar along with Chief Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Department, Jammu, Gagan Jyoti, today visited Associated Hospital Government Medical College, Ghat Doda, and inspected progress on the construction work of the Oxygen Generator Plant.

Chief Engineer was accompanied by Deputy Director (P&S) GMC Doda, Administrative Officer GMC Doda, Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital GMC Doda, XEN, Mechanical Division Doda, Technical Officer MED Doda, AEE MED Doda, AEE PWD (R&B) Doda.

The Principal Medical College directed the concerned officials of R&B and Electrical Division to complete the ongoing project on war and ensure the quality of the work.

The Chief Engineer inspected the ongoing works and impressed upon the concerned officers/officials to expedite the pace. She also directed Mechanical Division, Khellani to operationalize the MGPS system by working out an alternate power supply till 630 KVA Electric Sub-Station is erected by the JPDCL authorities.

It was assured by R&B officers of R&B Division, Doda that the plant room shall be ready for installation of OGP machinery by the end of the 3rd week of April 2021. As the Oxygen Generation Plants are likely to be received soon, the JPDCL authorities were also impressed upon to complete the work of installation of 630 KVA Electric Sub-Station by 3rd week of April 2021.
