Nidae KashmirSrinagar, Apr 13 (KNO): An elderly woman was killed after she was hit by an unknown vehicle in the Lawaypora area of Srinagar district on Monday evening.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the elderly woman was hit by an unknown vehicle near Noora hospital in Lawaypora, resulting in serious injuries to her.
He said that she was immediately rushed to Noora Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Mugli wife of Mohammad Ramzan Wani, a resident of Lawaypora, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated further investigation—(KNO)
