Police arrest trio, recover pistol, 20 rounds

Baramulla, Apr 24, Police have arrested three persons in connection with bank robbery case.

Robbers had looted the branch of JK Bank on 22 April at Sherabad Khore Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Though they faced resistance from some locals, yet they managed to escape from the spot.

Sources told KNT that 3 persons have been arrested during raids in this connection and a pistol and 20 rounds have also been recovered.

Reliable sources identified the arrested trio as Nisar Ahmad Bhat of Singhpora Pattan, Rahil Parry of Kanihama Magam and Muhammad Arif of Mazhama Magam. A pistol and 20 rounds have been recovered from these accused.

They said arrested persons are being questioned and more arrests are on cards. (KNT)
