 TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 02-05-2021

In view of the movement of Kashmir-based Darbar Move employees from Jammu towards Srinagar, tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs (Passenger) shall be allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) at 0600 hrs. up to 1200 hrs. towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu after the tail of Darbar Move Convoy crosses Zig.

SF’s CONVOY MOVEMENT

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.

ATTENTION

NOTE- On 05-05-2021 Wednesday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.*l

 

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one-way traffic (Passenger) from Srinagar towards Kargil shall be allowed on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road pass from Sonamarg at 0700 hrs. up to 1300 hrs.

ADVISORY

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming the status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
