Elementary teachers’ training colleges to carry online classes for 3 months: JKBOSE

Srinagar, May 12 (KNO): Authorities on Wednesday directed the Elementary Teachers Training (ETT) colleges to switch over the online mode of education for three months in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases.

The news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) has leaned that the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has said that decision was taken after representatives of ETT colleges providing training of Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.EI.Ed) Institutes have approached them with a request that they are allowed to conduct online classes.

“In view of the prevailing situation, online classes shall be conducted for a period of minimum 3 months with immediate effect from May-12,” BOSE said—(KNO)
