Father kills self after firing upon his two minor sons

Doda, May 31:  Father shot dead his two sons before killing himself in the Upper Gallo area of Tehsil Kahara of District Doda in the Jammu region on late Monday evening.

Police sources told KNT that a man fired upon his two sons with a 12 Bore rifle and shot himself as well. Father and his two minor sons were shifted to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

Sources said that Suneet Singh, a labourer by profession first fired with his 12 Bore rifle on his two sons identified as 15 years old Kamal Kanth and 17-year-old Chander Kanth and then fired at himself.

They said the trio were shifted in a cart by villages to a medical facility where they reportedly died.

Police have rushed to the village to ascertain the facts. (KNT)
