Handwara, June 1,: A 15-year-old shepherd boy sustained critical injuries after he was mauled by a wild bear in Kakroosa forest area of North Kashmir’s Handwara.
The boy is battling for life at SMHS Hospital Srinagar
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the bear mauled the boy when he was grazing cattle in Kakroosa forest area. Locals shifted him to District Hospital Handwara where doctors referred him to Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital.
A medico identified the victim as Maroof Zaman Khan, a resident of Shah Chenipath Rajouri. He said the condition of the boy is critical. (KNT)
