Soldier slips to death in South Kashmir’s Shopian

Shopian, June 4: A soldier died after slipping from a bridge in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a soldier part of a patrolling party slipped from a bridge and fell down deep into a gorge. The soldier was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Sources identified the deceased soldier as Arun Kumar of 62 Rashtriya Rifles. The incident occurred Sedow forest area of Shopian. (KNT)
