Pulwama, Sep 28 : Fresh firing resumed at Samboora gunfight in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday morning.
Reports reaching said forces this morning resumed operation again in Samboora village which was suspended due to darkness on Sunday late night.
An official told that two unidentified militants were killed on Sunday evening while as army solider aslo was injuries in Samboora encounter.
The officer said the injured solider was shifted to 92 base hospital srinagar where his condition is said to be stable.
Earlier on Sunday evening, a joint team of Police, army’s 50 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
The search operation was turned into gunfight after the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure internet services have been snapped in Police district Awantipora.KD
