Nidae KashmirBudgam, 5th December 2023: Budgam Police seized 43 Cft illicit timber and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
On 04/01/2023 evening ,Police Station Chadoora received an information that one person namely Abdul Gani Dar S/O Habibulla Dar R/o Gowharpora has kept illegally acquired timber at his home. Accordingly, a team from Police Station Chadoora conducted a raid on the specific location, and 17 logs of forest timber (43 Cft) was seized from the said house. The accused person involved was also arrested on the spot.
Case FIR number 03/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Chadoora, and further investigation has been taken up.
Our consistent actions against anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making every effort to keep our society free of crime. Police have resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.
