Srinagar, Aug 2 : An Army personnel sustained injuries during an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Akhal forest area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Official sources told that the injured soldier has been evacuated to a medical facility for treatment.
The gunfight, which began on Friday evening after security forces launched a cordon and search operation based on specific inputs, is still underway.
