Kupwara\2 feb 2023: With an aim to raise awareness about the importance of the newborn care for child
survival and development Indian Army has organised Awareness Drive on Baby Care at Chak Keegam for womens of Chak Keegam, Shidipura and Shal Mohalla on 02 Feb 2022.
Main key issues discussed during awareness drive are Maternal Health, Child Health, Nutrition, Family Planning and Adolescent Health.
Awareness drive was attended by around 40 women. Lady Medical officer conducted lecture on baby care. On completion of lecture medical assistant was also provided to needies.
The women attended awareness drive on child care thanked Indian Army for providing them valuable knowledge on important aspect of baby care and requested for conduct of similar events for women’s in future also.
