UDHAMPUR, JUNE 30: District Administration Udhampur today organized awareness cum Public Outreach camps under the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan at Panchayat Chapper-A, Block Latti and Panchayat Sundla, Block Khoon.
The camps were aimed at bringing government services to the doorsteps of tribal communities and ensuring 100% saturation of eligible beneficiaries under various schemes.
A wide range of stalls were set up by different departments to facilitate registrations and provide on-the-spot services such as aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat Card generation issuance of domicile certificate and awareness about flagship government schemes.
Local residents, particularly from the tribal community participated with great enthusiasm and availed themselves of the services being offered.
Officers and officials from key departments including Agriculture, Rural Development, Health, Revenue etc actively participated in the camps. They sensitized the public on the benefits of schemes like PMAY, MGNREGA and various welfare initiatives aimed at the upliftment of Tribal Community.
They emphasized the significance of such outreach programs in achieving last-mile delivery particularly in remote and tribal-dominated areas.
