DODA, JUNE 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta along with ADC Doda. Anil Kumar Thakur today jointly chaired a comprehensive review meeting to discuss the preparations for the upcoming annual religious yatras across the district.
DC Doda discussed Annual yatra in the district Shri Chandi Mata Yatra, Kulhand, Chandi Mata Yatra, Yatra Sarva Dharma Shenkhli, Dessa, Annual Chounda Mata Yatra, Charri Yatra, Monthla Nag, Chandi Mata Kenthi Dhar Yatra, Yatra from Kanser to Malni Dhar, Bhaderwah, Dandasan Mata Yatra and Shri Chandi Mata Lakabar Yatra.
The meeting witnessed the participation of religious heads, including the President of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, and representatives from various Mandir Committees.
During the meeting, DC Doda reviewed the arrangements related to uninterrupted power and water supply, adequate availability of firewood and essential commodities, sanitation and cleanliness along the yatra routes, Smooth traffic movement and transport facilities.
SSP Doda reviewed the security and traffic management plans for the yatras. He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts between the police, civil administration and local stakeholders to maintain law and order. Deployment of adequate security personnel and traffic regulation measures were also discussed in detail.
DC Doda and SSP Doda emphasized inter-departmental coordination and sought active participation from local religious and civil society representatives to ensure a peaceful and successful yatra season in the district.
