POONCH, JULY 23: In a significant step towards promoting academic excellence and digital empowerment, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal today felicitated seven meritorious students from government schools who secured top ranks in the Class 12 board examinations. As a token of appreciation and to aid their further studies, the DC presented tablets to the achievers.
Acknowledging the dedicated efforts of the Chief Education Officer, teachers, students, and their parents, the DC remarked that such achievements are a testament to the rising standards of education in government schools across the district. He encouraged the students to stay committed to their academic goals and continue striving for success.
The distribution of tablets was carried out under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, underscoring the administration’s unwavering commitment to girls’ education and digital inclusion.
The event was coordinated by the District Social Welfare Officer and witnessed the presence of the Chief Education Officer, teachers, and proud parents.
