Baramulla, July 22: A Power Development Department (PDD) lineman sustained serious injuries after falling from a low-tension (LT) electric pole at Krankshivan Chowk in Sopore on Tuesday morning.
The injured lineman has been identified as Jahangir Ahmad Bhat. He was initially taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
Sources said the incident occurred while he was performing maintenance work on the power line.
The condition of the lineman is currently unknown.
