Srinagar, 30 June 2025 : In a significant political development in Jammu and Kashmir, a new alliance has been announced comprising Sajad Lone’s People’s Conference, Hakeem Yaseen’s People’s Democratic Front (PDF), and the Jamaat-e-Islami-backed Justice and Development Front.
The alliance will be known as the People’s Alliance for Change (PAC). According to the leaders, the primary aim of the PAC is to bring about a meaningful political transformation in the region, address the pressing concerns of the people, and provide a strong and united alternative on the political landscape.
The alliance plans to contest upcoming elections with a joint strategy and field consensus candidates across constituencies. Leaders of the alliance emphasized that the PAC will echo the aspirations of the people and strive to ensure political stability and development in Jammu and Kashmir.
