DC reviews arrangements, rolls out activity plan
RAMBAN, AUGUST 1: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga-2025 campaign starting from August 2, 2025 across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shokat Hayat Mattoo, Chief Planning Officer Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Mohammad Ashfaq, SDMs, Executive Engineers, Executive Officers of Municipal Committees, Tehsildars, BDOs and other district and sectoral officers.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner rolled out the date-wise activity plan and briefed the officers on their role and responsibilities for the smooth and successful conduct of the campaign across the district. He directed all stakeholder departments to work in close coordination to attract maximum public participation and spread patriotic fervor to every household.
It was informed that the Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign will be organized in three phases, invoking patriotic spirit through Tricolor-themed decorations, exhibitions, Rangoli competitions, Rakhi-making, Swachhta Abhiyan, Amrit Mahotsav activities, letter writing to soldiers, Tiranga Mahotsav, melas, bike rallies, Tiranga Yatras, Flag-hoisting ceremonies at designated locations, homes, offices, institutions and public places along with the nationwide “Selfie with Tiranga” initiative to ensure maximum visibility and extensive flag distribution across urban and rural areas.
Emphasizing the importance of collective participation, the Deputy Commissioner said, “Har Ghar Tiranga is not just a campaign but a celebration of our unity, freedom, and national pride. I urge every citizen of Ramban district to participate wholeheartedly and make this campaign a memorable tribute to our nation.”
The DC also stressed the need for timely arrangements, enhanced tricolor decorations in public spaces, and active participation from volunteers, youth, students, and civil society groups. He further instructed officers to intensify awareness drives so that citizens enthusiastically hoist the national flag with dignity and pride during the campaign.
All the officers assured their full cooperation in making the Har Ghar Tiranga Rally a grand success in Ramban district.
