Salvatore International School Shadipora Students Shine at Wako India Open International Kickboxing Tournament-2024

Srinagar: Salvatore International School Shadipora is proud to announce the remarkable achievement of its students at the Wako India Open International Kickboxing Tournament-2024, held in New Delhi from 7th to 11th February 2024. This prestigious event welcomed kickboxing athletes from twenty countries, showcasing their skills and resilience under the theme “Be Tough, Be Resilient, Be a Fighter”.
In this esteemed tournament, two talented students from Salvatore International School Shadipora District Bandipora, Sheikh Umar and Sheikh Usman, both of 3rd grade, demonstrated exceptional prowess and determination. Sheikh Umar secured the Silver medal in the 32 KG weight category, while Sheikh Usman claimed the Bronze medal in the 28 KG weight category in the Point Fight event.
The remarkable achievement of these young athletes not only brings pride to our school but also reflects positively on the entire nation and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship serve as an inspiration to their peers and the community at large.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated teachers of Salvatore International School whose guidance and support have played a significant role in nurturing the talents of Sheikh Umar and Sheikh Usman.
