In the run-up to Independence Day 2025, Sopore Police today organized a vibrant Tiranga Bike Rally aimed at fostering patriotism, unity, and pride in the national flag.
The rally was flagged off from MET Ground Sopore and saw enthusiastic participation from youth, community members, civil society representatives, and officers from Police, CRPF, and Civil Administration, including ADC Sopore. Participants carried the tricolour with pride, raising patriotic slogans throughout the 8.5 km route.
The event was not only a celebration of the spirit of independence but also a tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs and their families, whose contributions in safeguarding the nation were remembered and honoured.
Speaking on the occasion, officers highlighted the significance of the national flag as a symbol of unity, freedom, and justice, urging citizens—especially the youth—to uphold these values in their daily lives.
The rally strengthened the bond between police and the public, reinforcing the message that building a strong, developed, and peaceful nation is a shared responsibility.
Sopore Police reiterates its commitment to fostering national pride, community participation, and harmony, and calls upon all citizens to actively take part in the Independence Day celebrations.
