Being a part of the most populous democracy of the world and beyond discussing some specific, explicit or unequivocal themes about democracy,a question that strikes my mind and gets me totally perplexed is,”Are the expectations of people being realized under democracies ?If over hundred countries of the world today claim and practice some kind of democracy, is the term “democracy” justified in true spirits by those countries or is it just being used as a weapon by the political leaders and parties for their individual interests and benedictions for their idiomatic reason of felicity.
Some of the repercussions or outcomes which could be reasonably expected out of democracy or considered to be certain are on the verge of extinction or completely do not exist in the present scenario. The citizens are being fooled at the name of democracy and are considered to be Berks lacking the power of judgment and prudence.
One of the reciprocal actions or effects of democracy is to produce a govt. following all the procedures and being accountable to the people, but does this happen in reality?
Does the govt follow all the procedures laid down before them? Are the democracies of the world amenable to every issue and matter? surely a big no.
The right to equality and dignity which is one of the basic elements of democracy has ended up being just a misconception today. Worldwide discrimination is being done based on religion, caste, and even on configuration. The promotion of equality seems to be a part of texts only without any practical rehearsing. The socio-economic and political interests of the marginalized and well-off are being discerned. In a state, only disparate legislation for different people and classes is nothing but the complete abuse of democracy.
The governing authorities have become less logical and more thuggery carrying boisterous behavior. The people are tied with fetters and shackles of inequality resulting in social differences and social divisions making a way for violence, contortion, riots, and hostility which has twisted and altered the true, natural and original state of democracy, which ultimately is a tumultuous disturbance to the public peace leaving them intimidated and antagonistic.
The powers are being abused by the authorities, the conflicts of people are not being resolved but are getting invigorated.
There is a continuous and dynamic effort made for differences to be incorporated among different sects proving to be an advantage to the intendance.
Another sequel of democracy is to involve the citizens in the mechanism of decision making but the govt.in power and officials at the helm of affairs who reckon themselves to be the well-wishers does not pay even an iota of attention towards the opinions, desires, and demands of their citizens and just bewilder and bemuse them in any possible way. The legislation and other policies pay testimony to the above-mentioned statements. The decisions are made more for the govts and less for the people. If such a situation prevails not so far the citizens would turn to insurgents and we are going to witness a civil war in most of the democracies of the world.
The fundamental freedoms and rights guaranteed by the constitutions of the world democracies have now become a traditional story of ostensibly historical events which in the present-day is just a delusion. The citizens are busy creating unrealistic or improbable mental images in response to the fantasies shown to them in the name of democracies forgetting the real role to be played by them.
Ending up all the social, economic, political, religious differences and seeking a better democratic govt should be the motto, the citizens of the democracies of the world should follow.

This is the first time that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson has mentioned Taiwan in a standalone statement. According to reports, the express train was going from the capital city of Taipei to the southeastern Taiwanese city of Taitung on Friday and it crashed inside a tunnel. At least 50 people were reportedly killed and over 150 injured in the accident. India does not have formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan, but both sides have trade and people-to-people ties. China claims Taiwan as part of its territory.
