Anantnag, Sep 10 : A man from Udhampur was killed in a bear attack at Khairpeth Larnoo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
Officials told news agency that the deceased has been identified as Saddam Hussain, son of Abdul Vahaid, a resident of Kakrai, Udhampur. He was attacked by a wild bear and sustained critical injuries.
He was immediately shifted to PHC Larnoo for treatment, however, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.
