Nidae KashmirBUDGAM, 21 APRIL: Continuing its efforts against drug peddlers and their dealers, Budgam Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession.
During Naka checking at Bathaar Budgam, the police party of Police Station Budgam intercepted one Innova vehicle bearing registered No.JKO1T- 3989 which was boarded by two persons. During their personal search following psychotropic substance was recovered from their possession.
06 Bottles of controlled Codeine based syrup, 01 drinking water bottle-01 liter filled with codeine-based syrup and controlled medicine Alprazolam 300 tablets
The vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.
The arrested persons have been identified as.
1 Shabir Ahmed Dar S/o Mohammed Abdullah Dar resident of Humhama.
2 Adil Manzoor Paul S/o Manzoor Ahmed Paul resident of Narkara Budgam.
A case FIR number 93/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stand registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation taken up.
