Nidae KashmirA huge explosion took place at the GFMS pharma factory in the Achyutapuram Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district early on Tuesday morning.
One person has been reported dead till now, while three others have been injured. The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined, said a police official. The three workers suffered minor injuries and have been shifted to the nearest hospital, added the official.
According to Elamanchili Circle Inspector Gafoor Shaikh, “So far one person has died in the accident. Three other workers who suffered injuries have also been shifted to the nearest hospital for treatment. All three are reported to have suffered minor injuries and are being treated for the same. The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined.”
