179 CRPF Organised football tournament begins in Sopore Town

July 11 :The Central Reserve Police Force (179 CRPF) organised football tournament started at Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

The ingaural match was played between KFC 11 Sopore Vs Morning 11 Sopore in which Morning 11 Sopore lost the match.

On the inaugural Ceremony, CO 179 Crpf Shri Santosh Kumar Mall was chief guest.

179 2/ic shri Navin Chander,Abay Singh Batia D/c,Ajeya Kumar,Assistant Commandant Shri Anand Kumar, Assistant Commandant Joginder Singh, were also present on the occasion.

The tournament is organised under the banner of Shaheed Nisar Ahmad Lone football Tournament.

In the tournament total 16 teams will participate and in the first day four matches were played at Subhana Stadium Sopore.
