2 civilians injured near encounter site in Ananthnag

Ananthnag, Sep 25: Two civilians were injured after an explosive device went off near the encounter site in the Srihama area of Ananthnag on Friday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch an explosion took place at the encounter site at Srihama area, injuring two civilians who had assembled there post the killing of two militants in the gunfight that broke out yesterday evening.
Both the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police in this regard have registered a case and started an investigation into the issue.
Pertinent to mention here that two militants were killed in the gunfight, however, the identification of both slain militants is yet to be assertained.KD
