Driver killed in road accident in Budgam

Budgam, Sep 26: A car driver car was killed in a road accident, after his vehicle had a collision with a tipper in Nasrullah Pora area of central Kashmir’s district Budgam.

A police official told the news gathering agency KDC that a man driving Wagon-R car (registration number: JK 01 M 8701) was critically injured, when the car he was driving collided with a tipper in Nasrullah Pora area of central district Budgam. He was rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries

The official, who identified the deceased as Shahid Ahmed Bhat (23) son of Bashir Ahmed Bhat a resident of Wara Sangam.

He further said that police have taken the cognizance of the accident and a case has been registered in the concerned police station, where investigation in the matter has been initiated. (KDC)
