Nidae KashmirBandipora:- As part of Public Outreach Programme Thana Divas held At Police Station Hajin Sonawari on thursday, where Senoir citizens from different areas of Hajin block attend the programme.
The Thana Divas was presided over by Senoir Suprintendent of police Bandipora Shri Lakshay Sharma, besides him SDPO Hajin Rameez Ahmad, SHO Hajin Mohammad Hussain was also present on the occasion.
The meetings were attended by the respectable citizens, Chairman Muncipal Committee Hajin, BDC Hajin , civil societies of concerned areas and including members of Auqaf Committees.
During the thana divas, participants highlighted various issues of public importance, and they were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and that civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
While speaking on the occasions, it was reiterated that the main aim of organising ‘Thana Divas, is to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability in policing at grassroot level in the district and to develop confidence among the people.
